ACTFL NATIONAL TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD
State
organizations in the SCOLT Region are invited to submit their candidate for consideration in the National Teacher of the Year Award sponsored by ACTFL. All nomination portfolios are due to
Ken Stewart on January 10, 2008. All SCOLT regional candidates will be interviewed at the SCOLT annual conference, and the SCOLT candidate will be announced at this conference.

TEACHER OF EXCELLENCE AWARDS
SCOLT is pleased to announce new Teacher of Excellence Awards (P-12 and Post-Secondary) to be presented at the annual joint conference. Deadline for submission: November 1st, 2007. Click here for more details.

  

SCOLT SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARDS
These awards are given to those who support and promote the study of world languages through speaking up on behalf of world language study, getting world language programs initiated, working in some way with legislation, obtaining or helping with funding, and contributing to state-wide and national initiatives related to world language study.
